They track the source of the hit back to none other than the diminutive criminal overlord Vulkanus, who has rented a Techadon weapon matrix to permanently eliminate Ben.

While Kevin and Gwen work frantically to hack and shut down Vulkanus's control system, Ben utilizes Ultimate Echo Echo to construct a sonic containment barrier, buying his team the critical time needed to rewrite the targeting parameters.
