Ben, Gwen, and Kevin investigate a bizarre wave of destruction affecting several secret fortresses belonging to the Forever Knights. To their utter astonishment, they discover that the notorious alien con-artist Argit has somehow become the supreme ruler over a faction of the Knights, forcing them to serve him and pay heavy "protection insurance."

Argit's secret weapon is Andreas, a massive, gentle-natured, armadillo-like alien who is the fourth fugitive from Aggregor's ship. Andreas possesses immense seismic abilities capable of generating devastating earthquakes. Because Andreas is incredibly naive and trusts Argit completely as his friend, Argit easily manipulates him into triggering controlled earthquakes to threaten the Knights into submission.

The situation escalates dramatically when a legendary high-ranking Forever Knight named Sir Dagonet arrives to reclaim the order's honor. He captures the entire group—including Ben's team—and prepares to execute Andreas using a high-powered ancient energy cannon. Ben uses the Ultimatrix to transform into Humungousaur to break the execution bonds, but the weapon is accidentally damaged, triggering a massive, irreversible thermal meltdown. In a tragic and heroic move, Andreas uses his earthquake absorption powers to absorb the full force of the blast to save his friends, seemingly dying in the collapse before the remaining knights are scattered.
