The episode opens with Grandpa Max narrowly thwarting an ambush by the mercenary SevenSeven on Ben's mother, Sandra, without her even noticing. Max quickly warns Ben, Gwen, and Kevin that a loose alliance of old villains—orchestrated by the sinister zombie-clown Zombozo—is systematically targeting Ben's family to extract their revenge.

Facing an army of Pickaxe Aliens, Ben utilizes the Ultimatrix to push past his limits, transforming into Ultimate Big Chill to freeze Vulkanus and the enemy forces with localized ice-flames. Meanwhile, an enraged Gwen breaks free from her bounds and taps completely into her colossal, terrifying Anodite form, effortlessly overpowering Zombozo and delivering an ominous warning that leaves the villain utterly traumatized.
