Episode Summary

Ben Tennyson is now 15 years old, enjoying a normal life, when he discovers that Grandpa Max has disappeared from his motorhome, leaving behind a cryptic holographic distress message. Ben visits his cousin Gwen, who has vastly improved her martial arts and magical mana abilities, and convinces her to help track Max down.

Their investigation leads them to a high-tech illegal weapons trade brokered by Ben's old nemesis, Kevin Levin. The deal is cut short when a terrifying alien race called the Forever Knights attacks, utilizing highly advanced technology supplied by mysterious, monstrous creatures known as the DNAliens.

Realizing the sheer scale of danger Earth faces, Ben has no choice but to unlock his secure box and put the Omnitrix back on. Upon attachment, the device undergoes a glowing blue recalibration cycle, completely updating its interface and giving Ben access to a brand new roster of ten powerful alien transformations, starting with his molten rock and plant-based form: Swampfire.
