Episode Summary

Ben's old school bullies, Cash Murray and JT, are tired of living in Ben's massive shadow and decide to create a web-series called *The Power and the Glory*. They approach Ben, begging him to let them film his heroics to give their show credibility. Seeking a bit of fun, Ben agrees. However, during editing, Cash and JT manipulate the footage to make it look like they are the ones giving Ben instructions, taking absolute credit for his victories over various street criminals.

The show becomes a global viral sensation, caught up in the sensationalist orbit of media anchor Will Harangue. Harangue invites Cash and JT onto his live broadcast, praising them for keeping the "alien menace" under human control. Flush with sudden fame, Cash and JT start acting like superstar heroes, completely ignoring the protests of Gwen and Kevin. The fake narrative bites back when a rogue cybernetic creature known as the Psyphon drone tracks them down to the studio, seeking to destroy the "brains" of the operation.

When the machine attacks the live studio audience, Cash and JT are left completely defenseless and terrified. Ben, Gwen, and Kevin step in to contain the collateral damage. To completely dismantle the heavily armored mechanical threat on live television, Ben accesses the Ultimatrix and transforms into Chromastone and later Echo Echo. After saving his old bullies from certain death, Cash and JT are forced to confess their fraudulence on air, destroying their brief moment in the spotlight but finally gaining a genuine respect for what Ben does.
