Plagued by horrific nightmares, Ben is suddenly attacked in the dead of night by Ra'ad, a floating, jellyfish-like electrical alien who is the fifth and final fugitive from the Andromeda Galaxy. Ra'ad blames Ben for the capture of his compatriots, revealing a shocking truth: every time Ben used the Ultimatrix to scan an escaped alien, the device inadvertently broadcasted a universal tracking signature that Aggregor used to hunt them down.

Terrified of being recaptured, Ra'ad attacks the Ultimatrix in an attempt to short-circuit it, causing a massive energy feedback loop. The explosion traps Ben within a brand new alien form named Ampfibian. To make matters worse, Ben quickly discovers that his mind has physically fused with Ra'ad's electrical life force, leaving both consciousnesses battling for absolute control over a single body.

As Aggregor traces the energy spike to Kevin's garage, the team races against time to use localized siphoning tools to separate Ben and Ra'ad. Just as the separation succeeds, Aggregor breaches the laboratory. A brutal battle erupts, revealing that Aggregor is an incredibly powerful Osmosian—possessing the exact same energy-absorbing properties as Kevin. Outmatched and cornered, Ben's life is saved at the last second when a guilt-ridden Ra'ad sacrifices his own freedom to strike Aggregor down, resulting in Ra'ad being dragged back into the cosmos as the final piece of Aggregor's dark puzzle.
